Combining a decade of academic, restorative and aesthetic practice with a community health background, Dr. Alice Hoang brings a whole health, patient-centered perspective to delivering world-class aesthetics at Brooklyn Mint Dental.

Dr. Alice is an experienced general dentist, deeply rooted in the philosophy of whole health, patient-centered dental care. She believes great dentistry is more than just a great smile. With her gentle touch, engaging personality, and artistically skilled hands, Dr. Alice prides herself in building relationships with her patients and works with them to achieve the highest level of dental health they desire, recognizing that different patients have different desires. She is motivated by clinical excellence, empathy, and ethics and is excited to bring her skills in delivering compassionate care and creating a welcoming, inclusive patient experience to Brooklyn.

Dr. Alice is also a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) as well as a Qualified Dentist for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Less than 6% of general dentists in the United States and Canada have the honor of the AGD Fellows. You can rest assured that she stays on the leading edge of dentistry and invests hundreds of hours into ongoing and training each year to offer the highest standard of care available.

Beyond Brooklyn Mint Dental, Alice loves to trade stories of her variety of artistic and culinary endeavors, travel adventures, gardening attempts, musical interests and #momlife struggles in her 2 mom crew. EDUCATED
Dr. Alice received her DMD at Medical University of South Carolina as a distinguished Presidential Scholar in her hometown of Charleston, SC. After graduating, she moved to NYC for a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center where she completed extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry. Since then, she has obtained over a decade of experience educating other dental professionals through her faculty positions with NYU and CUNY. Prior to her doctorate, she completed her B.S. in Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and Gender Studies at Emory University, which she attended on a full tuition academic merit scholarship when she was selected from thousands of applicants to participate in the Emory Scholars program. Dr. Alice continues her advanced dental training with the prestigious Dawson Academy, Spear Education, Kois Center and the MOD Institute.

EXPERIENCED
Dr. Hoang is a lifelong learner, who enjoys continuing education and teaching. She has a decade of experience working with diverse patients at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, the global leader in LGBTQ+ health. During this time, she also served as adjunct faculty training residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at NYU-Langone. Afterwards, she brought her strong background in community health to private practice, where she re-energized her love and talent for cosmetic dentistry while still dedicating herself to improving the overall health of her patients through her passion for Dental Sleep Medicine. She currently serves as adjunct faculty for the School of Dental Hygiene for CUNY’s City College of Technology. Dr. Alice has a Fellows in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), a Qualified Dentist for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM).
